Prayer is the KEY!  When God closes the door - He opens a window!

             "By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved

            with Godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household...and

            became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith."

Noah was an amazing man and had an amazing family. God opened the window for the promise olive branch to be brought by the dove - the promise that the flood would recede and Noah's faithfulness would be rewarded by the restoration of righteous believers through the generations that followed!

Here are a few "doves and olive branches" we stir our faith to see:


Dorothy Peterson~ healing from cancer

Art Skidmore~ healing and daily strength to carry on seeing the battle won.

Jim Hoggard~ healing and strength as he progresses in the rehabilitation process.  He has been transferred to the Abbotsford Worthington Facility.

Gini Smith~ comfort and encouragement since her husband Wendell, after a long battle with cancer, went to be with Jesus just over a week ago.  Wendell and Gini are the founding Pastors of City Church in Kirkland, WA.

Maryl Smith~ suffering from injuries inflicted by a car accident as well as healing from cancer. "Worship without Borders" has a busy schedule ahead of them this year - we believe for Maryl's health.

Eugene & Joy Greco~ Salvation for Muslim women in Spain who are open and responsive to the Gospel as they have seen His love demonstrated in tangible ways.

Financial provision~ for so many suffering from the economic downturn - specifically the loss of jobs and homes.

 Affirmation!

 

Wendell and Gini Smith...heroes of the faith!  They are loved and admired by all.  Early in their years of ministry, they pioneered a youth ministry that reached numerous youth groups in churches across the nations.  We were one of those Pastors that will be forever grateful for their ministry as they played, prayed and preached to the youth of our church in California.  Young people called Mike, Shawn, Ron, Shari, Mark, Jeff, Stephen and numerous more were there at camp, in the dust of Shannegan Flats, where Wendell challenged those kids.  Their lives were turned around forever as they sang -

"We have a destiny, we have a call, a chosen generation to give our all.

The final hour of history, the time for all to come, join the cause of victory, His kingdom come!"

Today in Uganda, the song still rings.  Children in Bweranga Primary School begin every day with their theme song , "We have a destiny..."

Thanks Wendell and Gini - the youth thank you - the generations thank you!
