Action!

1984...BA Flight from London to Sacramento...God spoke to the Petes..."it is time to go back to the land of your calling, Uganda, E Africa"! How? When? To do what? The answer came in Habakkuk 2:2 "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." "Okay", we replied. "We will do it." We did exactly that through to 1997. Today the vision continues in Uganda.

Fast forward to 2011: What now? Are the Petes done? Is the writing accomplished? Are the tablets completed? Has the appointed time come and gone?

We say, NO! Jesus hasn't returned - He is still held in the heavens 'til all is fulfilled (Acts 2:21) and we will occupy until He comes! What now? Time to write some more tablets so the new generation of heralds can RUN with the message. That is exactly what we are doing. We are writing it down - recording the dealings of God with our generation and passing the message on to our children's children. Though it tarry - WAIT! The appointed time has come! We have published our first book, "It's Still The Cross". This is Lew's life thesis on the Cross. It is available by ordering online at www.LewMarMinistries.org. More writing is yet to come. Lew's new book title is "Looking Back...Pressing Forward". This present generation has a message and it is based on past generations who laid the foundation upon which to build.

We need help from YOU. What do you remember of God's dealings in your life? To the GT folk, would you please write us your memories. What highlights are vivid in your "rememberer"? The "early days" of 590? The Glory days? Anyone out there that has an "I remember when God did " memory, please email us or write it down and mail it to us. We have a urgency in our spirits to write...this is our place in the scheme of God's plan for these later years of our life. We believe the result will be greater than the former. We must continue to pave the way for the next generation to forge forward but we need your memories to compare with our memories. What about 3456 Fraser St? What did God do for you there and NOW? What is God doing in your life based on the foundation laid by the Holy Spirit and growth through those years and the ones that followed? What are your "glory" stories? Where ever you have been? Tell us about it!

1. Audrey Layzell is doing really well. She has been home for awhile and believing God for continued health.

The doctors are treating her heart condition with medications and we are believing for full healing.

2. Dorothy Peterson is living with her daughter Gayle and holding her own. Her cancer was in her throat so she cannot speak and at times the infection re occurs and has to be treated with heavy antibiotics which can bring confusion. Pray with us for complete healing.

3. The sale of It's Still the Cross is gaining momentum and has had great reviews, one report said, "reading It's Still The Cross was like a breath of fresh air and a drink of cool water - such a refreshing, positive, joyful approach to the subject of the Cross." We have given copies to local pastors. Pray for favor and spiritual results at this Easter time.

4. LewMar Ministries was able to help a local church as a financial clearing center providing necessary funds donated for kingdom ministry.

5. The reports from Japan are sad but hopeful. Our Missionary friends assure us that their faith is strong, that out of all this, good will come as they believe for a spiritual revival in Japan. We believe with them.

Affirmation!

We are grateful that God is fulfilling His purpose in our family and we want to tell you how God is blessing our nephew and his family, Steve and Leah Peterson. Steve is the oldest son of Lew's late brother Bob. Several years ago Stephen and Leah pioneered a church to reach into the Filipino community in Vancouver, B.C. and as well hiring the men to work in his roofing business. Ten Fold Ministries is moving forward as the folks become more familiar with their adopted country.

Leah loves Jesus and is a great blessing to their church helping Steve in pastoring the congregation.

We have had many good times ministering to their leadership team and being with them on a Sunday morning, the folk are such a loving and welcoming people. The last time we were there, Gayle brought her Mom to the service - what a joy to see Dot and pray with her. Our long time friends, Dave and Carol Burr where there also as well as their son Philip. It was a great reunion day. Another joy we find when we visit their church is a young lady from Kenya who married a Canadian and now lives in Vancouver - what fun to fellowship with her and talk about her homeland. We are proud of Steve and Leah, and their daughter Stephanie, God is using them in a unique way for the good of the Kingdom.
