Thanks for the Past!
We are THANKFUL for our years of pastoring and traveling ministry in Canada, the U.S.A. and other nations including our years in Uganda - may we share a few words from Uganda that came recently in an email - remembering our past ("Mum and Dad" refers to Lew and me):
Joseph:
Dear Mum and Dad, I just want to thank you both for obeying God's voice to come to Uganda and plant Godly seeds in us. When you talk about a renewed Passion for Missions, I know exactly what you mean. That is exactly who you were and still are even today. WOOOO!!! Your blood is MISSIONS. I pray that that same zeal and passion will be upon your sons and daughters you raised. Looking forward to being with you in the Conference, I love you and always very thankful for all you invested in us, Rejoice, there is a strong trail behind you. Your Mission time was properly used with good fruit and Winnie, I (Joseph) as well as many others I know here say...
Anna:
Hi, Dad and Mum. Thanks for the labor you put in the work of Christ. I am a fruit of your labor. You did not labor in vain. I pray that the good Lord will reward and refresh you
Harriet Magambo:
I always remember you as my dear parents. Thank you for the love and your very lives you poured out for us and on us. Peter and I are what we are because of your coming to Uganda. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
Francis:
I want you, Dad and Mum, to know that I have precious memories of you. The way you raised and inspired so many of us to love and serve Christ. I remember before you left in 1997, you, Pastor Marion, specifically told me that you wanted to find me teaching in the Institute the next time you came back. Since then I have always taught. The ministry is growing from Glory to Glory because of the foundation you laid. I will always be grateful and God will reward you.
Grandma Flo:
Pastor's Marion and Peterson, thank you for loving me. May the Lord bless you and give you more years as He did to Hezekiah. Greet my Mari Lou and family - I love you all.
Boaz and Faith:
Praise be to God dear Pastors'. First of all I want to give thanks to the Lord God almighty for sending you to us. We are all doing well. We have three sons now. From my childhood (Boaz) you raised me and as a teen showed Faith the way to Jesus - we will never forget. We wish you a great time of love during this season and our prayer is that God will richly bless and prosper you as you continue with the Great Commission that is our heritage and destiny.
